About Us
The Biology Student Society (BSS) is a student-led group at AUB that brings together undergraduates interested in biology and life sciences. We organize academic events, research talks, field trips, and outreach activities to support learning and connection beyond the classroom.
Whether you're planning a future in science or just enjoy exploring how life works, BSS offers a place to get involved, stay informed, and meet others who share your interests.
Subcommittees
Subcommittees are the core of how BSS runs. They give you a chance to take part in planning, organizing, and creating what the society offers. Whether you're interested in communication, outreach, or student life, there's a space to contribute. You’ll build experience, meet people, and help shape BSS from the inside.
Media & Design Team
Handles all visuals, social media, and promotions. This team creates posters, edits videos, manages online content, and keeps the BSS image sharp and consistent.
Outreach Team
Sponsorships & Volunteering
Build connections outside the campus. From organizing events to coordinating awareness campaigns and helping others, this team helps BSS engage with the wider community.
Sports Team
Promotes student wellness and team spirit through friendly competition and active events. This subcommittee organizes games, tournaments, and other sports-related activities for members.
SOS - Course Guides
BSS SOS is here to offer you, the new sophomores, advice, encouragement, and helpful tips to make your transition as smooth and enjoyable as possible for future AUBites, and to alleviate the stress and confusion associated with course registration for our future doctors.
We are here to assist you in course planning, registration, and navigating the non-academic aspects of student life. Our goal is to make you feel at home from the very first day!
